Schools don't fund actual learning, they fund good grades, so the schools want you to make good grades. Literally 70% of every dollar goes to my local highschool. Most of that goes towards academics and not athletics and I think that's a disgrace.

Money isn't the issue anyway, we literally throw billions of dollars at inner city schools and they still are terrible.

The big issue was people getting concussed and then going right back into the game.

Texas ranks 27 overall and 31 for “School-System Quality,” but man, we really need that leadership from a new stadium.

Listen I love astronomy and space as much as the next guy. But do you learn anything that advanced in highschool? Not at all. You need a fucking doctorate to work at nasa.

I can't really recall sports ever helping me that much.

Doing science, on the other hand, kindled my interest in space and technology, which then led to computing and to what I want to do. Science has helped me more than sports has, and I think it's a subject that is incredibly underfunded as-is.
