I was just at my next door neighbor's house. I left a note in his mail box, basically saying "I'm the next door neighbor, I talked to you like 6 months ago and you asked if I am interested in music making, I am interested now. I didn't want to bother you by knocking on your door so I decided to write a note. I have some IPA beers that I don't like if you'd be interested in having them." So we must have talked for like a couple hours about computer stuff, I just feel like I have some anxiety now, you know?

It's like I guess I feel this way whenever I talk to someone new. I don't want to because I feel bad feeling anxious over such a nice guy. He invited me in, showed me all his equipment, we talked about music for a while and our favorite music venues in the city. It should be a nice experience to anyone who is a sane human being, which as you all know I am not.

Still trying to find ways to cope with my anxiety. I'm a roll-with-the-punches type person when it comes to living life, so, I don't really like going in with a strategy, because if I fail, then... well, that's a lot of time wasted for nothing.

If I have to do something, I'll do it, because I know I have to. It doesn't really matter how I feel about it.

this becomes easy to deal with for awhile, unless I do it too much
then I just come home manically depressed

it's not great

Meditation.
I tried this for like 15 minutes sitting on my bed completely still, but I still moved a little. It felt like I was sitting there for a lot longer. I gotta look up a wiki how on how to do it the proper way. I decided stop because I was sitting on my bed and the soreness of my back and legs were getting to me. I was sitting cross legged with my back straight.

-Exposure to whatever gives you anxiety kills it. This is how I've pretty much rid myself of most anxiety
-Meditation
-confidence in yourself helps with anxiety in dealing with other people

Anxiety can be good though. The best thing Ive done is changing my view on it to help push me to preform better or whatever. Look up "TED talk stress"

Also things that make mine worse in the long run are:
-marijuana
-Nonexposure to things. It can buiod back up
-CAFFEINE! Caffeine kills me, when i was taking 600mg of caffeine a day through preworkouts i would have terrible anxiety just being on the computer

Why are your retards saying coffee? Is it a joke? Coffee increases your anxiety if anything.
I can see through their bullshit dude. I switched to tea months ago. Now I only drink some green tea early in the day and herbal tea later in the day or vice versa.

You have to cycle your pre.

OT: I rarely have anxiety because I make it a priority to get and keep my life in order. If I do get anxiety I either chill with my friends (company is the best stress reliever in my opinion) or I smoke weed.

Half hour seems like a long-ass time just sitting there. I mean, I'm sure if one's anxiety is intense enough that you just can't function unless you calm down, then I suppose there's a cost-benefit analysis to be made there in terms of it being an overall benefit, but... I don't know, meditation is just so alien to me. I'm not a spiritual person, at all.

Just take a few moments, take deep breaths and think about the situation....thinking it out generally makes me confident.  Im generally the type of person to just face it head on anyway. Long story short....anxiety isnt really an issue for me.
