Yeah, if you like having your cereal get too soggy. Pouring the milk first makes it easy to carry the bowl around without having to bring along a gallon of milk.

It'll get soggy unless you plan on dropping spoonfuls of cereal at a time or plunge your face into the bowl. Everyone knows that the cereal will soak in the milk, its suppose to, while changing the taste of the milk at the same time.

just use less milk than you'll need and eat the softer areas first, then the harder cereal will fall into the milk and become softer next

using a bunch of milk makes everything soggy and gross

Why would anybody pour the milk first? Once a layer is on top of the milk you're not going to be able to add anymore to it due to it floating.
