Hey I kinda get where Verb is coming from, its hard to just change your attitude.  Especially when youre probably doing something you either dont want and/or was forced into doing. Cause you're parents sound pretty fucked dude Id be in the dumps if mine were like that.

We might be backpeddling, but long term is there something you want to do with the knowledge the course is going to give you? Id say still put effort into it...but I dunno maybe look for something else thatll bring you some enjoyment (like doing Youtube vids) you might find motivation from that to continue on with what youre doing in college.

So minimum effort in college, and you start pumping out Dark Souls vids for us yeah?

Bruh, if you're just looking to make enough to live comfortably there are plenty of jobs out there that can provide that money. You might have to live with a roommate but it's definitely doable.

Then you just apply for an income based repayment plan and unless you're making $10+ an hour you'll be paying nothing each month.

Some of my loans are $5 a month based off my income, and the others are definitely manageable.

Then you just wait 30 years and that debt is "paid" and you can stop worrying about applying every year.




Plus you get to work on your novels/videos etc. and hopefully break out and make internet money.

You get a degree and also stay in touch with your desires.
