I could never have sex with someone I didn't love, and I've only ever liked 2 or 3 people in my life. Most of which, didn't amount to anything or did and ended prematurely. But I'm a few years younger than you and I may have different definitions of "being with".

Some people could go through life without being with anyone, so no, I wouldn't say it's bad.
