How do I become the ultimate ruler in EUIV? I recently picked it up but it seems like one of those games I have to spend my time reading guides and watching Youtube vids more than actually playing. The almost random behaviour of the A.I and its alliances make it difficult to plan out a conquest since I could invade a nation and expect to win because I have the sheer numbers but then they spring up alliances with neighbours and bounce back with like double the number of troops.
