Hey Weebs, is Re:Zero actualy any good?

Everyone is in my face about how good Re:Zero apparently is but I'm cautious about getting sucked into this one because the last time a bunch of people recommended me a Chinese cartoon with the exact same premise, it turned out to be Sword Fucking Art Online, and I don't want to have that happen again.
