72 volumes takes up A LOT of space. And looking on Amazon right now, getting all three box sets new would round up to about $350. Worth it considering how much I like the story, and less expensive/a hassle than buying the DVDs/BDs for the anime since those con you on price for content. SpoilerHow often do you see these characters in comparison to others? Shino might not get a whole heck of a lot of development but he doesn't appear a whole heck of a lot either. He's not forgotten about because you can clearly see him from time to time in Part 2, but he wont get much in the way of development because there's not much he can contribute to. I'm not saying Kishi is perfect with his character fluff, but he's significantly better than another Big Three manga creator who introduces four new characters in one page with names and personalities only to completely kill them off a few pages later, or completely forgets the name of a supposedly powerful character because he went so long without adding him in the story.
