I started going to the gym in fall 2015. Now in (almost)Spring 2016 absolutely nothing has changed.

I'm still a friggin twig.


Now there is some reasons for this, which I hope to remedy.

1: Limited Time @ gym.
2: Required 30 min of Cardio.
3: Little time for weight lifting.

At this time, I am capable of only bench pressing my weight(130) for about 3 reps of 7....3 reps of 7....WHY?! To be honest I barely could lift 90 at the start.


So I come to you, as I know some of you happen to be quite experienced in workout, muscle building, and overall healthy living. So I need help.

At this time, I am capable of getting 30m-1h at a small Snap Fitness gym. It isn't anything special but it get's the job done. I am required to do 30 min of Cardio at all times even if I want to focus on weights. Now I need help.

With these limits in mind, what do you think I need to do so I can get something of meat on my bones? I'm sick of being a skeleton with skin, and I need help.

Why the fuck I am asking a bunch of edgy sarcastic pricks I don't know, but what the hell.

No, seriously. Do some at home throughout the day. You said you don't get a lot of time at your gym, so learn some decent no-equipment home workouts to help build strength. Pushups are fucking great. The solve everything.

It sounds like your commie gym that's the problem. I've never heard of a place that only lets you work out for an hour and forces you to spend half of it doing cardio. I guarantee it's not a place that's supposed to be for weightlifters/bodybuilders. I'd try to find a new place if possible.

That 30 minutes of cardio would be way too taxing unless you're a well conditioned runner and would make you tired for the rest of your workout and 30 minutes of weightlifting isn't very much.

If you have a car, stop using it to get around town.

Eat a high calorie low fat diet , and sleep a loooooot.

I do my weight training in high reps with medium resistance, and my cardio in half hour high heart rate sessions.

God damn that is just the worst pic one can use to show off his gains.

What is 3 reps of 7? You mean you do 3 reps and 7 sets? How do you have time for that? and only 3? What's the point? Train to improve strength, or to cause muscle hypertrophy, not to be able to brag. 5 reps is about the minimum if you want to build strength. 5x5.

Also, cardio kills your gains. By doing cardio you exhaust the glycogen in your cells which could've been used for lifting, thus you do worse.

You've given very little info about yourself, but you probably don't know much so whatever.

So you're trying to build mass while doing cardio? LMAO. Caloric intake and both types of carbs are how you gain mass. Muscle is primarily built in the kitchen. You probably eat like a woman, which is why nothing has changed for you.

Adding cardio on top of that is burning up your muscle. Cut the fucking cardio and heavy lifting. Heavy weights, low reps. You should be struggling on the 8th rep. BAM.

Do compound exercises. Bodybuilding comes later when you add muscle and need to see what areas to work on. FORM is more important than anything when it comes to lifting. If your forum is dick, what's the point? Drop the pride.

I went from 12 inch arms cold to 15 cold in 7-8 months. When I'm pumped, like 16 and a half. Got jacked. How? EAT A LOT. PUMP A LOT.

Oh and there's a bulk and there's a cut.

You bulk, which means you eat a lot and workout a lot, then there's a cut, where you eat less and do cardio
