and just like Citizen Kane has the iconic line that also ruins the whole film ("Rosebud"), Breaking Bad's remembered one-liner won't be "I am the danger", "Say my name", or any of that petty Walt shit.

It will be "I did it for me."  Walt's character and the whole show in a nutshell, but an admission that spoils the seemingly innocent, initial motivation of his.

Yeah but did BB really pioneer any filmmaking techniques or anything from a technical standpoint? It was a fantastic show but I don't really think it was revolutionary or anything.

Excuse me, I'm full of dog poison
Breaking bad will likely not be remembered, just like the walking dead and game of thrones.

Yes. POV shots from objects was all Gilligan.

Not that you need to pioneer anything from a technical standpoint to have a legacy. Look at Pulp Fiction. Literally all the movie did was borrow ideas and themes from other films, yet it's still considered a "classic".

All of Tarantino's films are like that.

None are considered classics but Pulp Fiction. Hence the example.

i was thinking about that one too but its still a liiiitttle too new and hasnt quite latched onto the cultural ether the way kill bill did. i think it could eventually be seen as a classic though
