Today is always the most enjoyable day.
My headphones just broke, and now I'm looking for a nice, comfortable pair of headphones to listen to music and watch the occasional movie with. I listen to every single genre of music except

metal
. I'm currently eying the NVX XPT100 and Sony MDR V6. It seems like the V6 has better build quality and the XPT100 is more comfortable.

if your budget is around $100, get the HD 380s. they're comfy as shit, they're closed back (so your mom doesn't have to listen to your mother/son audio porn), and they're perfectly neutral.

Well then between the loud headphones, louder live music, and even louder aircraft, and a minor high frequency deficiency in my left ear, I shouldn't be able to differentiate sound quality at all.
