Yes, for years at a time I have had no friends. I became depressed for a while, because the lack of social interaction was killing me. Was pretty bad, but I'm sure we all have had those moments in life, eh?

I switched middle schools, so I didn't know anybody.
Luckily that didn't last long. I've never gone long without friends.

I fucking lived in a foreign country for my first 3 years so had no friends then

Didn't many in elementary or middle school (like 2....3 tops)

I've had the privilege of having friends my whole life.

High school is when my group of friends became smaller throughout the years but I guess that happens to everybody.

There is no one I know who I trust with anything about me. At best, there's people I know. Likewise, I've never had anyone who I have truly considered trustworthy and have quickly left behind when moving schools or whatever.

I should elaborate. I've never had more than one friend at time. I had one best friend until third But after third grade until the second half of 10th grade, I didn't have really have any friends. I mean, I talked to some people in skool, but never outside of it. And then I had a girlfriend, which was my only friend until 12th grade. But now I have friends. I mean, they're all girls, and I'm not good at one on one interaction except for with my bestfriend.

When I first moved to Wales, I knew literally no-one. I had friends back in Ireland, but a good lot that would do me over here.

It's took me a year to make good friends, only 2 at that and one moved away just as I went to secondary school (highschool) it took me 6 to settle in properly and have more than just 3-4 friends, and actually had friends where I did stuff all the time with during A-levels. Now I make new friends every week.

I didn't really know anyone just after I was born.
Seriously though, I had times where I knew a lot of people and could call them friends, but I didn't have any close friends. After a few years ago when I met the groups of people I talk to now, my definition of a "friend" has changed.
