I see a lot of people post about this but have you actually experienced one yourself? I had one before and it was one of the most terrifying moments in my life. There's something really scary about not being able to decipher reality from the dream. At least in a conventional nightmare I know that it was all just a dream but in a lucid dream the line between the real world and the dream world is blurry. It gives me chills thinking about it.
Yeah. I'm actually "good" at lucid dreaming. For some reason I check in my dreams to see if I can push my hand through my other hand, and if it goes through, then I'm dreaming.90% of the time when I'm dreaming and I know it, I fly around like a tard. And for some reason there's always a black cat in my dreams. Just like a stray cat roaming around. It's weird.
SpoilerWow you guys are lucky. Mine happened when I was sleeping on the couch in living room when no one was home (this rarely ever happens). It's very blurry because this was a few years ago but I was like being tormented by something, some sort of being was just in this hallucination. I always associated it as being a ghost or demonic entity. Well anyways I eventually was standing up and walking around but there I was still laying on the couch asleep so it was basically an "out of body" experience which the idea of scares the shit out of me for some reason.

It's weird.Whenever I dream of flying it's less of a "zoom" and more of a DoDo plane from GTA III; the air is basically water and I have to swim through it, getting nowhere very fast at all.
I suffered from sleep paralysis after having a boring, lucid dream.

Quote from: Vien on September 08, 2014, 12:53:17 AMI suffered from sleep paralysis after having a boring, lucid dream.I once had sleep paralysis when I was sleeping on top of my bunk bed. I woke up, looked over the edge of my bunk bed, and there was thing weird pale humanoid creature similar to The Rake that was climbing up the ladder of my bed. I tried to get out of the bed but my body wasn't letting me do anything. I just watched the thing get closer and closer to me as I freaked the fuck out. Then I woke up.
This morning, my phone rang while I was sleeping, and in my dream, I got up to answer it and it was my father. After the call ended, I was standing there awake out of bed with my phone up to my ear, and I was actually talking to my dad. That was kinda fucking weird.

I have lucid dreams probably around twice a month. They're fun (and usually hot).
