sounds exactly like two songs off the record smooshed together
trite, almost irritating cell-phone ringtone of a chorus
poorly constructed and boring instrumental
lame, preachy lyrics
"come on! sing along! everybody now!"

i think it's done ironically, but... it just... doesn't... work

I have the opposite problem. More often than not I'll only enjoy a handful of songs from a band and hate the rest.

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.
You know...i cant think of a single bad song from my favorite artist. Not a single one from hundreds of his songs.
Even the songs i dont listen to regularly have something i appreciate.
