Prisoner of Azkaban is when the series when from pretty solid to GOAT tier. Deathly shallows one was by far the worst but part 2 is incredible
Prisoner > DH pt 2 > DH pt 1 > Goblet > Order > Chamber > Philosopher >>> subatomic dogshit > Half Blood
really? that's actually probably my least favorite tbhthere was a lot to like about it, like you said (snape is my favorite character too, and he and draco had a lot of fantastic scenes), but i felt like it was bogged down too often with the romance shitmy favorite is prisoner of azkaban--i think as a film, it stands on its own the very best, it nails the adventure feel, and how they set up the time turner shit was brilliant. i actually think it's the best time travel plot in written history.
I like Azkaban and Goblet the best out of the series. You should give the books a read, too, at some point. The films are pretty good adaptations, but there's just more stuff in the books.Fantastic beasts was shit.

Could someone explain to me the whole Snape's Tears Backstory thing? I felt like I missed a lot of what was going on. Stuff like why Lily and Severus had the same Patronus animal. Why was James Potter such a douchebag? etc. etc.

Why was James Potter such a douchebag? etc. etc.Severus had Lily's Patronus animal merely to symbolize Snape's love for her.James was a douchebag because, well, he was a jock. Popular Quidditch player, Head Boy, etc. made him think very highly of himself and very lowly of less popular students such as Snape.Anything else?
it just seems a bit odd to me that Snape would take out his distaste for James on Harry when... Harry is really not like that at all.
