What are you on? Paul Martin was only PM for 2 years before the scandal, which was the ONLY reason he was beaten by Harper. Not because of his "spending". He had a god-damned surplus of $13.2B when he left office!
Prior to Martin, Cretchien took Canada from a $38.5B defecit to a $9.1B surplus. That's almost $50B! The Liberals have almost always been better - economically - for Canada. So if you're done spouting Conservative rhetoric, I'd like to see how you justify Harper's "economic prowess" by explaining his loss of nearly $70B over 3 years, or the $40M that just suddenly vanished in his first term only to suddenly reappear in the economy come this election so that he can claim we "aren't in a recession" (which we objectively are).
I just don't understand how anyone could justify this behaviour. Canada has become a joke; a puppet under his rule. We used to be regarded as economic paragons in the U.N. until we became America Jr.
