Hmm.I don't really know much about all that, but I'm pretty sure laptops are bitches to upgrade as they require soldering to put back together.As opposed to just opening the tower of a desktop PC and slotting in and out what you want.What I'm getting at there is, if you don't thing you'll use it much, I wouldn't bother sinking that much money into it. You won't really be able to upgrade it, so if you don't use it much, you'll end up spending that much money on something that could be relatively out of date for when you want to play new/games.

Return it, build a moderate PC and buy a console too.
