Hey Malv. Wanna board the Swage Train?
Why do you have so many guitars? And how much did all of that cost? If you do not mind me asking. Edit: And it is cute that they all have names! =^.^=
You are in a band, right? I have been wanting to learn to play an instrument for a long time, just for my own entertainment, not to play with other people really. I am unsure of what I would want to play though. I have thought about the guitar and also the violin. I know they are very different, which is why I have a had a difficult time making a choice.
Did someone say gear sluts?Spoilered images inbound! The guitars:SpoilerAmber, my main bass. A beautiful Schecter Stiletto Studio Six. I fucking love all that alliteration. Behind her is a five string I no longer have and Jessica, my four that I've had for years.Zoey, my short scale, guitar tuned, Schecter Ultra VINatalie, my newest acquisition, an ESP 206SMBeth, the acousticlA 1960's Lyle (motsumoku company) SG knock off that I sometimes use for writing purposes The gear: SpoilerI've re-ordered them, but this is still my current effects roster.I don't have any pictures of my amp setup, but it's a 500 watt Ampeg Portaflex head going into a 210 and 115 PF cab, and for convenience and practice purposes, I have a nice and light Carvin mb210, which at 35 pounds still manages an impressive volume at 250 watts. There's only one difference I'd make if I had the money. An Ampeg SVT tube head and 8x10 cab.
Is there much of a difference between playing guitar and playing bass?
I meant like the chords, are they similar on both instruments? You play both, so I was wondering if you had to learn them both differently, or if they were mostly the same, just obvious differences in rhythm while playing. If that makes sense...
