Personally, I like the changes they have made. I didn't mind the original First Order Stormtrooper design; but, I feel that these modifications to the design, however slight, are a real improvement. The helmet looks more menacing and less passive.

I still don't particularly care for the First Order's stormtroops -I'd much prefer them go back to separate goggles and mouthpieces.

But yeah, these look better. So that's cool.
