it's a bit of a gauntleta very rewarding one, imo, but a gauntlet nonetheless
it happens to be my favorite album of all time, and one of only two albums i'd give a 10 to
Boston is good

I enjoy Boston. Especially that particular song. And I'll check that out, I've been listening to Springsteen quite a bit recently.

Six disc changer. I got a bunch more in the console, including but not limited to : Hank III, Justin Townes Earle, Four Year Strong, Sabaton, Cage the Elephant, and Florence+the Machine
can't say i've ever heard that phrase before. "Gauntlet". Like, it's a long album to listen to?
well i mean, it was the first NIN album I bought. ordered it a few days after you showed me the instrumental video in that one thread. been hooked ever since. actually trying to get all the halos for my collection.
what about the fragile makes you like it so much?
is it me or are youtube links working really poorly right now
people seem to think the instrumental bits are just needless filler and make the album seem bloated--i don't necessarily agree, but i can see where they're coming from i guess--i think they all add some weight and gravitas to the whole experience
the underlying theme/story going on with the record is kinda like a followup of TDS, but the parts are more loosely connected, and difficult to make out--so it takes many many listens to finally "get it," but when i got it, it stuck with me forever, and i think the result is absolutely beautiful
in case you were wondering, this is the other album i'd give a 10 to
