For my 10th birthday, my mom got me a cake made in her favorite flavor instead of mine. I just blew the candles and walked back to my room after that cause I was mad.

My mom also kept me away from anything Pokemon related growing up cause she believed that "devil worshippers" created it. My friends at school would talk about Pokemon all the time and trade cards and I would be completely lost.

Oh and I was forced to go to church every Sunday or I'd get my stuff taken away or get grounded, that was always fun.

I have been skipped for my own room for the better part of 20 years.

I've only once had my own room and that was for less than the usual year long minimum.
