yay or nay?

personally I think it depends. Some graphic tees can be pretty cringe, especially if they're just a product logo or something else uninspired, like a superhero logo or something.

If the T-shirt has a nice design, however, they can be cool. I have a Rocket League T-shirt I picked up at the 2019 World Championship, and I think it looks pretty cool.

I also think it depends on where you wear them.

What are your thoughts? Post examples of good and bad graphic tees.

I'm a sucker for graphic tees, especially if they're limited run prints or have artwork that isn't really seen. I have several Final Fantasy shirts (one of them being a 30th Anniversary special) and whenever I go out with friends I almost always get a comment from some stranger while wearing it. Also got others like Halo, Megacon (still have Vien's shirt to give him BTW), a few Gundam ones; brother went to a Miku concert up in NY so he picked up a tee for me, also got one from work for the wildlife conservation fund for increasing donations by over 500% in my old location.

Only problem is, I really only wear jeans and a tee-shirt in the summer cause of the heat. My preferred fashion/style is more male-nanchatte; any other season I wear button up shirts with a sweater-vest and tie.

I'm pretty adamant about not incorporating them into my wardrobe.

I mostly wear button downs or solid color tees. I would definitely wear some of those dumb anime meme t shirts tho like this.

I have a bunch of random graphic T-shirts given to me over time with logos for things I know fuck all about tbh and I wear them because I really just don't give a shit.

I think I’ve been turned off to them because my brother is a graphic tee fiend, and I think his are pretty bad, but it really depends. The biggest factor as to whether a t shirt looks good or not is whether the person wearing it is in shape or not tbh.

A jacked dude with otherwise good style is going to look a lot better in a batman shirt than some neck beard in the same shirt. Also the graphic itself makes a difference. So probably use your own discretion if you actually care about this type of stuff.

for the most part, i don't care, but i do prefer to draw less attention to myself, so if i'm going to consciously choose something to wear (rather than just throw something on like i normally do), it'll be a solid color t-shirt rather than anything showy

The ones I use at this point are mostly just band shirts from concerts I've been to like;

or otherwise just solid colour. There is one with a cool cross section view of one of the Martian frigates from the Expanse I wanna get though.

I find the idea of wearing anything with symbols or designs makes me extremely uncomfortable, so I wear plain clothes.

On the other hand, I have nothing against people who do wear graphic tees because they can look decent on certain people.

graphic tees are acceptable as lounge wear, if you're over the age of 18 you shouldnt be wearing them in public at all.
