That tail looks absurdly long.
looks like a flaming pile of shit
Where's the rest of the world at to aid Japan?
I love the retro feel but goddamn that goji looks awful.
I hope Godzilla isn't the only monster in this movie but it looks like he is the only one in it.Hopefully this movie releases in the states.
It looks like yet another Japanese Kaiju movie. At least the American one had something in it different.
Like hardly having its titular character in it at all? Quote from: MyNameIsCharlie on April 14, 2016, 10:20:41 AMIt looks like yet another Japanese Kaiju movie. At least the American one had something in it different.
The people were the characters. Godzilla was a force of nature. That was the whole point of the movie. If you thought it was strictly a monster movie, then you have the problem.
The tail is the only thing that bothers me. Toho confirmed it's the largest incarnation of Godzilla to date. Quote from: HollowedTurkey on April 14, 2016, 09:20:50 AMI love the retro feel but goddamn that goji looks awful.
The fact that Godzilla isn't a character in his own movie is the problem. 2014 was just another generic army recruitment film. The 1954 Gojira has the force of nature theme but we still saw plenty of the King. Godzilla fans go to a Godzilla film to see a monster movie, not some bullshit Call of Duty movie with a tail showing up once every 45 minutes. I guess it's a different mentality. Looking at our avatars, I can see you like the more Japanese fanciful stuff, and at mine showing I like human characters. You would want a classic monster flick. Me, I am more interested hiw the human characters deal with beiyin a world with giant monsters fighting.
