The beauty of God is that he's above us all not only in strength but in intelligence too. The fact that he stays humble is something only God could do. If I had the power of God I would make it rain steaks and big mac's and I would tell people I did it too. We as Christians try to be like Jesus and God but what we don't realize is we have it better then both God and Jesus because we are allowed to mess up. Jesus and God have to walk the Christian path twenty four seven. I know I can't do that and that's why I pray to God so I can do my best. Now excuse me while I go pray for steak and big mac rain. Still doesn't answer my question of why no other beast on this planet (except humans [ who are capable of imagining all sorts of shit]) acknowledge a higher being.

Actually, no. As I get older all of my already partially functioning bits are going to degrade and fail faster than a normal persons because of their already diminished capacity.
