In retrospect, I probably should've had my cousin drive me up to the observatory (The astronomy club is doing an open-house at it for the eclipse). Not sure why I didn't.

You should've done it. I went to the astronomy club meeting and 50-100 people were there. Really great to talk to others with similar interests or discussing other stuff
