I had a police interview to give evidence, was a bit nerving but the guy was alright. He was slow at typing so we were there for a bit.

For print and television.

I took classes in most fields of journalism during school, photo, video, paper and web publications, even became editor of the paper my senior year.

Yeah, I got the questions beforehand. Just trying to prepare myself as best as possible now. It's not just a random reporter but an actual cybersecurity expert who knows a lot about this already.

You want to know exactly the message you're trying to provide, but definitely don't script yourself.

Your answers should seem authentic, and informedly off the cuff.

I dunno, all I can say is be careful what you say. But the questions will likely be boring honest questions, and they will likely choose a few from the bunch.

Quoted are usually small and made to be inserted into a report. Also do some research on outlet.

When I was touring a university campus, I was interviewed by a journalist from what was probably the smallest time newspaper in the area. Just questions like "What do you think about the size of the campus?" and shit.

I really am neither of those 3 things. Didn't mean to brag, I was just seeing if anyone had any good advice (like Solonoid) or past experiences with being interviewed.
