The first episode was kinda shaky and had too many flashbacks IMHO, but the second was better in that regard. I'm still not entirely sold on the redesign of the Klingons (especially their lack of hair) but other than that I think the new visuals have been updated pretty nicely. Wondering how the titular ship will be introduced though. Looking forward to seeing Jason Isaacs as the Discovery's captain.

Also how is Michael going to get out of getting stripped of her rank and sent to prison for life? She is the main character, right?
Also, while I'm not that fond of the intro, I don't hate it either. It's... different. The theme song could be a bit more upbeat, it feels like it's building to a crescendo but it never comes.
