When shit hits the fan, its nice to have some organisation not totally composed of pencil pushers or burger flippers or keyboard masters protecting the aforementioned pencil pushers etc.
Its a disciplined structure and it is necessary. It does a job no one else wants to/ is capable of doing.

Because I will not be shipped off to fight in another country where we've no business in. Any country, for that matter. Unless, it was for a cause like the two world wars. Only exception.

Or, my country was being invaded. Even then that's debateable because the country is so big, so wide and separated, that guerilla warfare would be a prefferable form of resistance.

Other than that, nothing else will ever make me step foot there.

I don't like the idea of possible death for another country's freedom. You can't tell me that fighting bad dudes in Iraq/Afghan has kept us safe OR protected our freedoms from these dumb ass politicians that are on the homeland.
