Bananas are better than apples. Prove me wrong fgt.
In papers, you want to make sure you don't confuse write with right.

I'm not good with that stuff, but for people that can actually help you, what's the class/subject and are there any requirements/restrictions for the essay?
What are the criteria for the paper?
Do you have any convictions, or anything you strongly believe in?

Things like high debate shit would probably work best, I dunno maybe sterner gun control/better background checks considering the fuss with the shooting yesterday.

There are sone subjects like abortion and religion and whatnot that I want to avoid due to my mom possibly reading it
For a freshman level paper, I'm assuming your professor doesn't expect some lofty, ten page argumentative thesis about some obscure topic. You'd be fine to stick to the common topics (Marijuana legalization, death penalty, etc.), so long as you form an argument that is somewhat original (For marijuana legalization, you have the ability to cite Colorado now, unlike years past).Or you could even do something as basic as "Is the ESRB crucial to the gaming industry"

I'll think about itThanks

I'll think about itThanksJust make sure your argument is your own with a topic like the death penalty - don't just go and say "It's bad, mk?"Take a stance - maybe you feel it's bad for all but convicted terrorists, or you feel that it needs to be used only in times of extreme certainty in verdicts. If you don't support it, give reasons like faulty convictions leading to innocent lives lost.
