Stupidly overrated show with a one trick pony: kill everyone. Oh, and boobs. That's about it. Expect any and every character to die (with obligatory boobage shoved in somewhere) and that just about summarizes the entire show.

GRRM has explicitly stated that Jon is one of the five or so characters that ASOIAF revolves around.

So if Kit isn't coming back, this either tells me that the showrunners are disregarding an integral character to the story (unlikely), or they're getting a different actor to play the character reborn as whatever it is GRRM has in mind.

Either way, I think Jon as a character is coming back, just in a completely different way as to what he was before (possibly Night's King or a White Walker).

I saw Jon's death coming from a mile away after watching episode 8, just seemed like something that was going to happen after showing him become a complete bad ass by taking down that white walker. This show has really become predictable even for people like me who have never read the books
