Everything I read about this show just makes it seem so tacky
I think most of us are still watching because we feel obligated to. The difference between s4 and s5 was the sharpest decline in quality I've ever witnessed in television. It perplexes me that the show manages to get more emmys and more critical acclaim than the earlier seasons did.
Still, Hardhome was fucking spectacular and has yet to be topped.

Battle of the Bastards, The Door and the Winds of Winter were all last season, all were amazing episodes amid a season that had absolute flops as well. I don't doubt for one minute that the show can still provide some outstanding, entertaining television. I completely understand all the qualms about teleportation or rushing the plot or whatever but I find it hard to believe that someone would have to force themselves to continue watching just because they've come this far
Yeah it's honestly starting to dumb down the show and become an action movie about dragons and zombies. I'm not mad, just liked the intrigue and story of the original seasons more.
Why make less episodes if you're just going to rush it

They've been working on it for 10 years now and have been forced to write the plot themselves, which is something I'm sure they didn't think they'd be doing when they started.
No joke. They could have made 4 or 5 season just from AFFC and ADWD. By then TWoW would be out for them to make 2-3 more seasons from.
