I'm pretty darn sure it's fake, RC helicopters don't stop that easily, and they don't do well at hovering sideways. Although having a faulty tail rotor will inevitably create some silly shenanigans.

The shadow looks...off somehow.

And I'm pretty sure we don't have helicopters that can completely rotate on it's axis like that with the behavior of a ADD dragonfly.

Gyros(not the Greek food), someone that knows what they're doing and good blade pitch control.

This is an expensive RC. They control lift w/ blade pitch, which explains why it was able to pick up so much speed before taking off. They can also Com with gyros which allow you to control and maintain precisely how much yaw, pitch and roll you want.
