It was a pretty up and down year for me. I started to get my fitness back early in the year, went to university, got a second job and started to have a semi decent social life. Then I got hit with a nasty flu that had the side effect of making me unable to sleep and lingered for a month and a half. Enough time to throw my study and exercise completely off track. I ended up failing the semester and deferred my studies after that.

I lost track of everybody I met after deferring and I still haven't been able to get on top of my fitness again, though weekly boxing sessions over the year has helped. I got my first car a while ago and it's one I really like, but about a month after I got it, Mum's bad service history caught up with her, meaning her car's days are numbered. The engine now sounds like a diesel rotary, despite being a straight six. Work have lately not been giving me any shifts and I have a parking fine to pay off.

I'm starting to come good though, I'm back on the grind of sending out job applications, and despite my success rate being less than 0.03% I'm pretty confident I can land an apprenticeship by February.

Another year the music died.

Honestly, I don't know how to feel about this year. I'm more worried about what's coming.
