Free Video Editing software that doesn't suck?

I need ideas. Windows Movie Maker is an absolute last resort.
Halp me plz.

And no torrenting, I don't know how to do that, and it makes my antivirus program flip out.

I would say Source Film Maker, but that's more of a screenshot sandbox than a video editor.

If you're looking to do anything really good, you should get a trial of either Final Cut or Adobe Premier Pro.

This is true.
Premier is pretty difficult to master, and the other I recommended will take no small amount of learning as well.

You know, I have a good pretty reasonable price one I can suggest. It's called Wondershare Video Editor. I used that for my videos. Perfect for it's purpose.

Unless you're looking for something REALLY advanced, then I suggest either Adobe Primere or Sony Vegas.

Do NOT get Wondershare off of Amazon, you will have problems. Get it from the official site instead.

I personally use Sony Vegas and it is godsend. I tried out Final Cut and I'm not sure if I like it. I prefer Vegas Pro.

I usually just use notepad.
