Do you talk about it publicly, or are you too embarrassed to do so.

I dislike anime, and I feel like people who do never say they do simply because it's sort of embarrassing in the public eye. For example, a kid made a Naruto joke in one of my classes the other day, and everyone just kind of looked at him and threw shade.

So, are you open about it or low key

I'd discuss it with them, maybe on occasion make a reference when applicable. I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

But, any other time, it's powerlevel hiding al day e'ry day.

I just assume that people don't give a shit about my hobbies unless they ask about them. It's more of me not wanting to trap people in a conversation they're not interested in.

Yeah, as in, like, the humour (and everything else) is really weird. It's kind of hard to describe why. I am planning to watch a few supposedly good ones, though. Maybe it will change my opinion.

That's what I think, and then people say I need to talk more about my hobbies, and then they act all disgusted when I tell them about how I spend hours replicating anime characters in AA2.

Problem here is that anime is daytime TV over there and a large amount of it is actually aimed at older audiences.
