I'm stuck on doing packets, or rather I look at them and procrastinate. I've been told by everyone to finish them but when I start reading anything my brain just shuts off and often I forget everything. I could be finished with Highschool next week (Should have finished over a year ago) but I just can't get myself to do it. I sat down for 3 hours and only finished 3 pages of reading. How do you deal with issues when reading? Especially when you have to write essays about the content? (English Packets).

Have you ever had an issue where if you read anything long enough you zone out completely? I can't read books, news, pretty much anything. Even stuff on forums I often can't read without zoning out. It's making it really hard to do English packets.

I explained to someone in the Plug.dj but my school changed graduation requirements right before the school year was through (During the second semester) and I didn't graduate. I went to another school last month in August and they gave me 10 packets. Basically the packets are to practice Reading, Essays, Grammar, Writing, ect..

So why not just fucking call it homework instead if that's all it is?

You mean like a physical packet which contains all your work?

I have the exact same problem. Not really sure how I cope with it. Most of the time my mind wanders but sometimes I'm able to focus clearly on what I'm reading.

Yeah, I read the replies. Unfortunately I really don't want to go see if I have a disability because it could cause issues later in my life with job opportunities..

Tell the teachers to teach instead of just giving you some papers and teach yourself
