Fear The Walking Dead actually looks pretty cool

Just seen the trailer for it. It looks like a more accurate reperesentative of the book WWZ than a fucking film 'based' off it. All it has done is remind me how good a WWZ TV show could have been...

Anyway, having two series of the walking dead on at the same time is going to be... Interesting.

It's a series set in the same universe but on the opposite side of the country and right at the beginning of the outbreak.

huh, well i was under the assumption that the show was going down the shitter

i personally couldn't get past the first few episodes of season 4, just lost interest in where the story was going and the pacing of the episodes became unnecessarily slow

Seen enough WWZ-esque zombie apocalypses to watch a new one. The Walking Dead is interesting because it's set during the post-apocalypse phase which only recently has been tapped into (Metro, Fallout's revival, Day-Z, etc), while this just seems to be an attempt at reviving a beaten-to-death horse.
