Seinen?Like the German word seinen?
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, if that counts. how do you figure out what falls under that classification? i feel like Hunter x Hunter would because of its powerful themesalso i definitely need to watch FLCL again. watched it like 4 years ago and i don't remember anything besides liking it lol

I watched it two years ago and I can't remember most of the characters names, let alone the events happening

Are the younger fans more understanding because they're going through it at the time, or is it more confusing because they're not familiar with the concepts it tackles. Can older people reflect more strongly from more experience, or is the medium used too foreign from their experiences to convey information as readily. Moreover, can anyone get what the hell happens in the show, or is it ambiguous like the End of Evangelion with more nebulous nuances to emphasize the confusion factor?

More than you'd expect.
Cowboy Bebop
the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.
Elfen Lied. Death Note. Akame ga Kill. Evangelion.
