Cats suck so let's talk about dogs! What's your favorite breed?

Mine's a tie between the King Charles Cavalier and English Mastiff, love them both.

Coonhounds cuz I've only ever had a Coonhound. It was black and tan, sigh I miss the beast.

you don't need a reason to own a dog. If anything he was to protect the goats from wild dogs or rustlers.

Only ever owned two labs and later a great dane.
Labrador is definitely one of the best breeds out there.

Had a friend with a Shiba Inu. It was pretty adorable and smart. Decent smaller dog. Tho that howl they do would get annoying.

I was thinking of adopting a Lab a while back, they are really cool dogs. But I can't handle hyper dogs.

Well I mean every dog breed is going to have energy and need exercise. I don't really think of labs as any more hyper than other breeds. They mostly just want to play fetch and go for walks. Super friendly, sociable, and trainable for the most part tho. Good family pet.

Yeah, Labs are AMAZING family dogs, however if you have EVER owned a Mastiff, you know that they only want to play for about their first year of life, the rest they want to cuddle and chill.
While a dog like a Yorkie will be tired for 2 seconds before wanting to play more.
