is that a fucking tactical qiang?
It's called a Kama, stop inventing words.
Actually, it's called a qiang, which is the chinese word for a spear, you fuckin' nark

Because it looks more like an Eastern spear than a western one, the origins of which would make sense considering that the weapon listed above it, the kama, is also Eastern in origin.

And, once again

You fuckin' nark
There are Eastern spears that look like that? And here I just thought they took a scythe and tacticooled it. Why are there so many weird ass Eastern blades?

Also I was referring to their tactical spear, not the first image

The first image is just a kama, which is a shitty weapon regardless

"flaming nipple chops"-Your host, the man they call Ghost.

To say, 'nothing is true', is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say, 'everything is permitted', is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic.

Oh, I thought you were talking about the Schythe-thing, not the spear. Still weird.

Nah, the scythe thing is just a shittier version of an already shitty weapon

Because East Asian farmers didn't have much better things to use, and people who were well-supplied just thought, "Hey, it really doesn't matter if I lose this thing, because it's absolute garbage."

Thus: the kama

Isn't that how all Japanese non-samurai weapons work?

Well I mean that's basically saying, "Isn't that how all European non-knight weapons work?"

Like...pitchforks and shit like that were used by peasants during uprisings, because they could be lethal without being actually designed for war, but that didn't change the fact that they were really, really shitty weapons.

Unless you mean Japanese weapons that were used by lower classes of warriors, which isn't really true. Ashigaru units used yari (spear), naginata, katana (all shapes and sizes), and tanegashima (matchlock rifles) as well, they just would've been a much lower quality than those the samurai would've used, because why would you give good weapons to your shitty cannon fodder soldiers?
