I thought the original Trilogies were pretty boring too, even after watching through them all last year. But nobody has criticized me on that opinion yet.
There is a difference between an older movies (like me personally, I think Braveheart was some of the most overrated shit), and something that's just coming out that many people go to love, and then people just going "Omg, why do you people like this shit? You're so duuuuumbbb" (that's meant to be read in a valley girl accent), ya know?
Like, seriously, all of the movies are uninteresting snoozefests, and whenever I say I don't like them people lose their shit

I guess some people expect to be rewarded for being different so they want as many others as possible to know they don't care about <insert popular thing here> Every Football season, particularly towards the Grand Final, at least half my Facebook news feed is people having to let others know how much they don't care about it, and same with all Sports. It's likely some great desire for attention that's fueling such online activity.
Sounds like a bunch of circle jerking
My mom mentioned someone we know over facebook saying the same thing and it made me wonderWhy do people feel the need to speak so loudly against something a shit ton of people like? It doesn't make you special or more cool that you "reject" the popular form of media. If anything it shows you're trying too hard.Let people enjoy what they want to enjoy and don't take a shit on their parade. It doesn't hurt you. You don't have to like something and feel the need to slam your flag down and proclaim why you don't.I'm not a fan of Walking Dead at all but I'm not going to see a die hard fan and say "Oi, your show sucks. Feel bad you like something I don't", because it's something he's passionate about and enjoys. Tl;dr - get over it, no one cares
