Agreed. AVP is objectively a pretty bad movie, but I must say that I really enjoyed it myself. I especially love the first acts of the movie where they're just finding and discovering the pyramid. I like the escalation of that into complete chaos.

The fights are well choreographed and the action is decent. If you don't go in expecting 2001 A Space Odyssey, or Ridley Scott's second Alien movie, you'll probably enjoy it more.
