Animals move in?

because while we provide them with food and shelter, the only reason we do own them is because they entertain us

not because we feel any desire in our hearts to take care of them

generally speaking, of course

let me put it this way--it's easier for me to justify owning a cat or a dog, or even a bird, than it is any other pet

Well yea if you "own" a pet fucking fly just to say you do I can see what you mean, but if the animal in question is smart enough to at least recognize the benefits of living a sheltered existence I don't see anything wrong with it.

This reminds me of a study I was reading regarding apparent parallel evolution between dogs and human beings,

Interesting how they are sensitive to human emotion In an almost manipulative degree.

Unless you have like a circus animal or something, I doubt your pet provides much entertainment

Sure it's great to teach your pet tricks and shit but that's not the reason people get them

mhmmm my dog gets to meals a day 2 walks we she can walk around free and smell anything she wants. The rest of the day she sleeps on a bed without a care in the world.
