"Electric Boogaloo" is a phrase seen quite often, but I don't think many people know what it's from. The source of the term is the sequel to the popular Breakdance film "Breakin'", titled "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo". Both films were produced by the film company Cannon Films, and that brings us to the subject of this thread; a hilarious documentary about the Cannon Film Group, showcasing it's absurdity, lack of taste, and the eccentric nature of the company's owners, the Israeli cousins Menahem Golan and Yorum Globus. The only real issue the documentary suffers from is that it makes the chronology of events somewhat confusing, but that's a minor issue.
Now, I must warn you, the documentary is highly explicit, containing scenes from some of the sleaziest movies of the 80's. However, the sheer hilarity of the situations and people described was funny enough for me to disregard the sexually explicit content. The documentary is available on Netflix, and I highly recommend you guys check it out.
