How is that banworthy?

On it's own it isn't, but it stacked up with his previous infractions when he was given another warning for it.
Hence the one day ban.

Perhaps a PSA about reports/warnings/light bans might be useful >.>

Psy explained it best - it was just a series of warnings that piled up and hit the point where it turned into a ban.

I'd say to watch out for a FAQ/explanation as to how the system works since there does seem to be a bit of confusion.
