 I love muh Jesus just as much as the next guy, but I'm not much of a Christmas person. I used to when I was younger, but i guess getting older makes me more apathetic in general.

After two years of working in a supermarket the mindless consumerism of it all kind of wears you out.

I enjoy the festivities and spending time with loved ones, but the build up surrounding it has been satiated with materialism and rabid spending that I honestly can't be bothered with any more.

I kinda like Christmas. But I fucking hate Christmas songs, Christmas movies, Christmas TV show specials and stuff like that.
They're so awful that it hurts.

I also hate how forcefully fake andcheery everyone is. Like yeah, be happy that it's Christmas and stuff, but god damn tone it down to a reasonable level.

I love it. Best time of the year for me.

I love the music, the movies, the decorating, and the whole spirit. I get to see family, eat food, get presents, its great.

Fuck you if you think people are faking the happiness. I always feel genuinely cheery during the holiday, and I think most people do too.
