People just dont seem to understand that I have something to loose here. I worked hard for every single person. Made enemies and friends. But the lack of fulfilled promises from people wanting to make content, has caused many of my subs to question my words.

What? We aren't making you look bad, you are making you look bad.

You're the one with something to lose here, so why don't you take on a degree of responsibility and make your own decision. Instead of asking the very people who seem to have periodically disappointed you.

I'm not going to comment on whether the channel should stay or go, I don't have a stake in it so it's of no concern to me.

But not a single user has come to this forum saying "I saw Brute's videos/Channel...", so it's pure bullshit to say that your channel is supporting this website.

I am a Content Creator/Monitor for this place. I make and organize things to keep people like you interested and keep coming back and striving to grow this place. One of the ways is through this. I have taken on the name of this place and set up a way to direct traffic here. So I would not pretend that this is not supporting this place.

And as an added sentence of clarity, I am making it known of the problems that are going on within it. I have tried to get things going with interested people, but since it is not happening I am torn for what to do.

That's not true. Your content is pretty much just an extra for anybody's who's interested; I only really take note of the podcast which is just a community thing.

Your content probably isn't one of the things keeping people interested in this place or helping it grow. . .

You're under the impression that Sep7agon is dependent on your channel to keep us alive. People come here to have fun and talk to people, not because of your channel.

I'm not trying to be horrible, but you think you're more important to this place than you really are.

It was supposed to be beneficial for both parties. As you can see, Brute was promised a lot of help he never received.

I get that, but he's shifting the blame onto people it doesn't belong to.
His channel is his responsibility, and if it flops then that's not our fault.

I can pretty much guarantee this. The channel is an extension of the forum, not the other way around.

This is primarily why I don'y buy into the whole youtube gaming crowd. A friend of mine is trying it out. And I've told him again and again that unless he kicks it up, it's not going to work. Here's the deal with youtube shit these days.

It's a fad. And everybody and their grandmother is trying to get in on it, especially since now the end all motivator came into play. Money. You've got millions of people to compete with, so many in fact, that the youtube fads aren't even about gaming anymore.

It's an actual business mindset that you have to play and get into. You, as a person have to stand out. You have to play to the crowds, follow the trends, and adopt a gimmick of sorts. It's exactly like a business. Except less cutthroat.

So my point here is?

Personally, I haven't watched many of your videos. I've seen a few, admitedly. But when I just scroll over one of your videos I have a tendency to pass it by. Because it looks dime a dozen to me. I could go onto youtube right now, and find half a dozen videos just like yours in a few minutes.

And I'm not trying to be discouraging here. But those are the facts. You've got millions of people to compete with, just like you. And you're either the creator of such good quality content that you stand out based off your dedication alone, or you adopt a gimmick and roll the dice.

Pewdiepie is swedish or some shit, screams a lot and appeals to the simple minded masses.
Markiplier is uppity, screamy, and has a lot of interaction with his fans.
And I'm sure you can spot the other tricks big names out there pull.

Honestly, the entire thing is roll of the dice. And not only that, but we come down to your original point. Nobody is doing shit.

And that, that's the true issue with this site in general. There are a select few contributors who are trying hard and that's fine. Good on them. But there's a distinct lack of drive, motive, and spark for this place to ever really accomplish anything.

So what can I say to you?

Cut your ties if they're pulling you down. Don't adopt a gimmick and roll the dice. Don't do it for the money. Do it because you love it.
