Most dubs are horrible. Only watch dub if I know its good (for example Full Metal Alchemist and Dragon Ball)

But usually Sub is the way to go, and gets released quicker to that advantage.

Like Dragon Ball Z's original dub was pretty bad and they also had a different soundtrack that blared every moment because they thought kids would lose interest. Not to mention it also changed some people's characters. So I'd prefer the sub.

Dragon Ball Z Kai on the other hand is a pretty good dub.

I don't watch much anime, but what I've seen subbed has been really bad. The voice actors are generally just awful. Maybe it's a cultural difference, but even native Japanese speakers don't inflect and emote the way VAs do in anime.

Depends on the quality and if i'm in the mood for reading. I can settle for a half decent or mediocre dub, put there is a point where I just cant deal and i'll have to watch subs. One example is Cardfight!! Vanguard.

On the other hand there are some moonspeak dubds that I can never watch and and have to do the english dub. Spesificly Dragonball Z. The Fukishima reactor meltdown was probably karma's way of  punishing Japan for Goku's voice.
