I stopped caring about that a while ago and just started enjoying the ride. It has its bad moments but it's definetely improved since the earlier episodes. I guess they save their budgets for the epic shit.

They must not have a whole lot of budget then cause it still kinda looks like ass. Which is a shame because the two recent movies they did were the best dragonball has ever looked.

iirc Toei don't actually do the animations for Super, it's an independent studio in the Philippines or somewhere, who aren't really equipped to handle the time constraints for Episode releases.

Super and the Buu saga of Kai were running at the same time in Japan when it launched. There's nothing saying they have to finish the Buu saga of Kai before Super can be done.
