Depends on how much there is, small quantities won't do much, though larger and more dense amounts would do some damage to the lungs, I believe.

A natural swampy area? A good deal of time, the amounts there wouldn't be too concentrated, unless you were taking deep breaths or just breathing in a good deal it shouldn't affect you unless you spend around maybe a day or two in the swamp.

I don't, just do a little research into the compound and you'll find out a bit about how it would affect a person.
